Description
Salisbury steak meatballs served with garlic herb mashed potatoes.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 2 tbsp flour
- 4 cups potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
- Form the mixture into meatballs.
- In a skillet, brown the meatballs on all sides.
- Remove meatballs and set aside.
- In the same skillet, whisk in flour and slowly add beef broth until smooth.
- Add meatballs back to the skillet and simmer for 20 minutes.
- Boil potatoes until tender, then drain.
- In a bowl, mash potatoes with milk, butter, garlic, and parsley.
- Serve meatballs over mashed potatoes.
Notes
- Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Use ground turkey for a lighter version.
- Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
