Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
  2. Add sliced carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
  3. Add green beans and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
  4. Drain the vegetables and set aside.
  5. In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat.
  6. Add honey, salt, and pepper, stirring well.
  7. Add the vegetables back to the pot and toss to coat with the honey mixture.
  8. Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
  9. Serve warm.
