Description
A simple and flavorful side dish featuring tender carrots and green beans glazed with honey.
Ingredients

- 1 pound carrots, sliced
- 1 pound green beans, trimmed
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot, bring water to a boil.
- Add sliced carrots and cook for 5 minutes.
- Add green beans and cook for an additional 3 minutes.
- Drain the vegetables and set aside.
- In the same pot, melt butter over medium heat.
- Add honey, salt, and pepper, stirring well.
- Add the vegetables back to the pot and toss to coat with the honey mixture.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Serve warm.
Notes
- Adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey.
- For extra flavor, add garlic or herbs.
