A hearty casserole inspired by the classic Big Mac burger.
Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 cup pickles, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup ketchup
- 1 tsp mustard
- 8 hamburger buns, cut into cubes
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef and onions over medium heat.
- Drain excess fat and add pickles, mayonnaise, ketchup, and mustard.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture with the cubed hamburger buns.
- Transfer the mixture to a greased casserole dish.
- Top with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from oven and let cool for a few minutes.
- Garnish with shredded lettuce before serving.
Notes
- Feel free to add more toppings like tomatoes or onions.
- Serve with extra pickles on the side.
- This dish can be made ahead and stored in the refrigerator.
